Seven charged after Aberdeen drug raids

Two properties in Constitution Street and Union Street, were searched yesterday

Seven people are to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Friday, 12 January, following two separate recoveries of drugs in Aberdeen.

Acting on intelligence, police addresses in Constitution Street and Union Street in Aberdeen yesterday, Thursday 11th January 2018.

A 55 year old man and two women aged 38 and 34 have been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences following the search at Constitution Street where heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis valued at around ÂŁ6000 was recovered.

Two men aged 48 and 35 and two women aged 28 and 25 have been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences following the search at Union Street in Aberdeen where heroin and cocaine valued at around a high three-figure sum was recovered.

Detective Sergeant John Snedden said: "Police Scotland in the North East is committed to tackling drug misuse and the illegal supply of drugs into our communities.
