Second man charged over Aberdeen ATM raid

A second man from Liverpool has been charged in connection with an alleged break-in and attempted theft from an ATM machine at the Spar on Aberdeen's Clifton Road last month.

The 33 year old is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.

Another man aged 26 was charged earlier this month.

Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail said: "Thank you to all those who provided us with information in connection with this investigation at the time.

"Our enquiries are still ongoing and I would encourage anyone with information to contact 101 using reference number 0156 of 6 March, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous."
