A search for a missing teenager is underway in the Inverugie area of Peterhead.

In a social media post made around midnight on Friday, 29 April, officers said they are "currently engaged in an ongoing operation" to locate Bryce Grant, 16.

Bryce is described as 5’ 8” in height, slim build with dark hair, longer at the top, with short sides. At this time it is unknown what Bryce is wearing.

At this time the search is being conducted by Police Scotland in Peterhead and emergency services, and officers said they are not looking for assistance from the public to search.

As emergency services are using specialist equipment, such as thermal imaging, and to ensure they are not hindered in their operations, it is requested that the public stay away from the area.

If anyone has seen Bryce they are urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3535 of 28th April.
