Scottish Cup final to go ahead with no fans
UEFA's Euro 2020 preparations plans means Scottish football's showpiece occasion will take place behind closed doors
The Scottish Cup final is set to go ahead at Hampden with no supporters.
The national stadium will be under the control of UEFA by the time the showpiece occasion takes place on May 22.
Supporters will be shut out of the ground as European football's governing body have stadium preparation plans in place ahead of Euro 2020.
Around 12,000 fans will be allowed to attend games at Hampden during the tournament in the summer.
The Scottish Government gave approval for 25% of the ground's capacity to be used for the four matches being hosted in Glasgow.
National Clinical Director Jason Leitch previously told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard that the Scottish Cup final could be used as a test event.
He said, "If you remember, on April 26 we want to move the country into Level 3, then three weeks later all being well we will move again. That's when we'll start to think about capacities at festivals or at theatres, or at football stadia.
"So we will again think about what that looks like, perhaps for a few hundred people initially and then some, let's call them 'gateway events' - big events that we know are coming, from the World Mountain Bike Championships to the Scottish Cup final.
"We need to make sure we make them as accessible as possible, if Covid allows."
