Two jailed for murder of Scott Hector in Aberdeen

Sean O'Halloran, 20, will spend 11 years and eight months behind bars after pleading guilty to the murder of Scott Hector in Aberdeen.

18-year-old Connor Adams pled guilty to culpable homicide and was sentenced to seven years and three months.

Hector was stabbed to death at a property in Marischal Court on Friday 2nd April 2021.

The pair were sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on Tuesday 15th November.

Detective Chief Inspector Graham Smith, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said: "Our thoughts are with Scott’s family and friends as they continue to come to terms with his tragic and needless loss.

"Scott’s family wish to thanks those who have supported them through this incredibly difficult time and have requested privacy."
