Quad bike stolen from Shire shed

A quad bike worth thousands has been stolen from an Aberdeenshire shed.

The Can-Am runaround is valued at £6000.

The quad bike was stolen sometime between 4pm on Thursday 21st June and 10am on Friday 22nd June from the Glens of Foudland area near Huntly.

PC Mark Douglass, from the Huntly Community Policing Team said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around a derelict property in the Glens of Foudland, or if you saw vehicles in the area around the time of the theft to get in touch with us. No piece of information is too small and could assist us with our enquiries.

“Additionally, we would ask that if anyone is offered a Can-Am quad bike that they consider its origins and if you have suspicions it could be stolen, to call us on 101.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1181 of 22 June."
