Boa constrictor found in Aberdeen City Centre

A boa constrictor was handed in to police this morning, after someone found it in Aberdeen City Centre.

The snake, which is three and a half feet long, was given to officers in the early hours and they are now appealing to anyone with information on where it came from to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “A snake has been handed into Police in Aberdeen.

“It was found in the city centre in the early hours of today.

“Anyone with info about it is asked to phone 101 & ask for the Queen Street Public Office”.

The reptile is now being looked after by the SSPCA.
