Pupil taken to hospital after school bus and lorry crash on A90
A pupil from Inverurie Academy has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A90.
Police were called around 3:15pm to reports of a collision between a school bus and a lorry near Inverbervie.
It's thought there were around 15 pupils on board, who were travelling to a football match.
There were no reports of serious injuries - and one has been taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The other pupils are being returned to Inverurie.
An Aberdeenshire Council spokesman said: “A bus carrying Inverurie Academy pupils to a football match was in collision with another vehicle on the A90 at around quarter past three this afternoon.
“Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, although one pupil has been taken to hospital as a precaution. The pupils are being taken back to Inverurie in another vehicle, and the school is contacting parents and guardians."
