Police Trace Man Who Was Knocked Down On Union Street

Police say they have traced a man who was knocked down on Union Street last week.

The 76-year-old man was hit by a car, but managed to get up and walk away before recieving any medical attention last Wednesday (September 16).

Police then put out an appeal to help find the man, who they feared may have been badly injured.

But they have now confirmed, the man has been found, and he is uninjured.

Sergeant Mark Stephen, of the City Centre Policing Team, said: "I want to thank the members of the public who came forward and assisted us in tracing this man and making sure he was uninjured."
