A body has been discovered in the search for a missing Portsoy taxi driver.

Robert Stevenson hadn't been seen since 4pm on Thursday May 11, prompting a widespread search in the area.

Police called on the public to look out for the 65-year-old's blue taxi and check dash-cam footage for him.

But officers made the discovery at around 10pm on Sunday May 14, along with his Blue Dacia taxi, near the village of Pennan in Aberdeenshire.

The body is yet to be formally identified, but the family of Mr Stevenson have been informed.
