Police make drugs haul in Aberdeen while dealing with separate incident

Drugs worth £24,500 have been recovered in Aberdeen.
Officers attended an address in the Kincorth area regarding an unrelated matter in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Cannabis, Diazapam and Cocaine along with a four figure sum in cash were recovered.
A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery and is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday October 16th.
PC Kirstin Pickett, who led the enquiry, said: "This was a significant seizure of controlled drugs and I would like to thank the local community for their patience while this incident was dealt with."
Inspector Steven McEwan, of the Nigg Community Policing Team, added: "As well as proactively targeting those involved in the supply of drugs, my team remain vigil during their routine duties for any indication of illegal substances.
