Police in the North East are investigating after a video appeared online of two Aberdeen daredevils driving a car at over a hundred miles an hour - with one of the men standing on its roof.

It starts with a man in a white shirt balancing on a roof. Then it cuts to the same person holding a selfie stick out a window, he gets up onto the window and hangs out of the car.

But it doesn't stop there - he then clambers on top of the vehicle as it gathers speed allegedly travelling at speeds of around a hundred miles an hour.

Police have this afternoon confirmed they’re looking into this video, as well as others shared online.

Chief Inspector Kevin Wallace said: “Enquiries are being progressed into these most recent incidents and an update will be provided in due course.

“Let me be clear that we don’t condone behaviour of this nature in any way. It is completely reckless, inherently dangerous and not entertainment. Those who choose to behave in such a way will be fortunate enough to escape with only a criminal record and are putting other members of the public at risk.

"Anyone with information that they believe could assist should contact Police on 101."
