Police Investigating Death Of 3-Year-Old Boy In Peterhead

Police are investigating the death of a three year old boy at his home in Peterhead this week.

The toddler reportedly died after hitting his head on a radiator, while playing with an older sibling, in his home on Monday.

He was rushed to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital for emergency surgery but died hours later.

Police have now launched an investigation into the child's death, and last night a forensics team were working inside the home.

Police say the death is being treated as "unexplained".
