The police are investigating two break ins at Aberdeenshire businesses.

The Co-op in Newmachar was raided, and alcohol taken, in the early hours of this morning.

The police are looking for two cars - a black and a grey hatchbacks - seen in the area between 3am and 4am.

More than one thousand pounds was taken from the Dil Se Indian takeway in Portlethen on Saturday night.
