Police Hunting For Man After Serious Assault On Union Street

Police in Aberdeen are looking to trace a man in his 20's following a serious assault on Union Street in February.

The attack took place outside the Boots store at around 10:45pm on February 6.

The victim of the serious assault was a 33-year-old man.

Now, Police are looking to find a man who they say may be able to assist with their enquiries. He is described as being in his 20's, approximately 5'8" tall, of slim build, and was wearing a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt, black trousers and white trainers. It's thought he may have an eastern European accent.

Investigating Officer Constable Kevin Souter said: "This is a serious incident resulting in a male sustaining a facial injury. Assaults of this nature can have a significant impact on the life of the victim and I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male pictured or has any knowledge of this incident to come forward and contact the Police."
