Police Hunt For Man After Union Terrace Gardens Attack

Police Scotland is appealing for information following an assault that occurred in the Union Terrace Gardens area of Aberdeen.

The attack is believed to have happened at around 2:30pm on Monday near to the archway next to Union Terrace Bridge.

A 26-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown man and sustained a serious facial injury.

Police are particularly keen to speak to a male school pupil in uniform who assisted the victim following the attack.
