Police appealing for information after A92 crash

Police in Aberdeen are appealing for information after a woman was injured in a car crash on the A92 on Friday evening.

The incident happened at around 7pm near Cairngorm Road, and involved a red Toyota Aygo and a grey Volvo XC60.

The 56 year old woman who was driving the Aygo was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The road was closed for just under three hours, reopening at around 9.45pm.

Inspector Nick Searle said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to hear from drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage that could assist our investigation.”
