Police Scotland is appealing for information following two separate indecent exposures in the Dee Street and Quarry Road areas of Aberdeen.

Officers are investigating after a man within a dark coloured Volkswagen Passat motor vehicle (2001 to 2005 model) exposed himself at Dee Street on Monday May 2, 2016 at around 12.20pm. He is described as being 40 to 50-years-old, of a medium build, was unshaven, with short hair at the sides and bald on top. He was wearing a white T-shirt, a black V-neck jumper and jeans.

On Wednesday May 4, 2016, police were alerted to another indecent exposure at around 3.30pm at Quarry Road involving another male driver in a dark coloured Volkswagen Passat motor vehicle (again a 2001 to 2005 model). He is described as being around 25 to 35-years-old, of a chubby build, had tanned skin, was unshaven, with short brown hair at the sides and curly on top. He had a black half sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

Detective Sergeant Martyn Thomson said: "Although the descriptions for both males differ, we strongly suspect that they are linked. I would urge anyone who recognises either description to contact Police as a matter of urgency. Likewise, anyone with information about the car in question should also contact Police.

"While the members of the public who reported these males to Police were not actively targeted, it goes without saying that incidents of this nature are distressing. We are following several lines of enquiry, however anyone who can provide any further information could be of great assistance."

Anyone with information should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 to remain anonymous.
