Police appeal for information after two house break-ins in Aberdeenshire

Both incidents happened on Saturday night

Police are appealing for information after two houses were broken into in the Stonehaven and Fordoun areas of Aberdeenshire on Saturday, 8 October.

The first incident happened on Princess Road, Stonehaven, between 6pm and 7.45pm.

Meanwhile, the second happened on Tochhill Road, Fordoun, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

Detective Constable Jake Balderson said: “We are treating these two break-ins as linked at this time and are asking for anyone with potential information to come forward.

“We are keen to hear from members of the community who may have seen anything suspicious in the Princess Road and Tochhill Road areas, or motorists who may have dash cam footage from nearby.

“If you believe you can assist our enquiries into these incidents, please call police on 101, quoting reference number 3228 of 8 October, 2022.”
