Police appeal following Aberdeenshire crash

Man seriously injured in 3 vehicle collision on A947

Police are appealing for information following a crash on the A947 in Aberdeenshire which left a man badly hurt.

It happened around 10.15am on Friday, 25th November on the Aberdeen to Banff road between St Katherines and Fyvie and involved a white BMW X5, a white Renault Master van and a white Peugeot Boxer van.

A 24-year-old male passenger from the BMW suffered serious injuries and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. No one else was injured.

Sergeant Sarah Ritchie of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries into the collision are still ongoing and anybody who may have witnessed the incident is asked to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles prior to the incident and could have dashcam footage.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 0835 of 25 November, 2022.”
