Police appeal after Gordon's Mills road attack and robbery earlier this month

A three figure sum of cash was stolen, and a 36-year-old man left with a serious leg injury after '3 or 4 men' attacked him.

Police in Aberdeen are appealing for witnesses after a man had a sum of cash stolen, and was left with a serious leg injury, after being attacked earlier this month.

The 36-year-old was near the Gordon's Mill Road junction with Papermill Gardens when a dark coloured car approached him. Three of four men then attacked him and stole a three figure sum of cash.

The man was left with a serious leg injury.

Detective Constable Kayleigh McLean said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything, both before and after this attack.

"If you can help please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0188 of Friday, 2 October, 2020, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
