Tools worth £1,000 + stolen from outbuilding near Peterhead
It happened earlier this month.
Police Scotland in the North East, are appealing for information after a lock on an agricultural outbuilding was broken and tools to the sum of £1,300 stolen from within.
It happened in Blackhills, Peterhead.
The theft occurred between 10pm on Friday 2nd July 2021 and 8am on Saturday 3rd July 2021.
Constable Mathew McKay of the Peterhead Community Policing Team said;
"Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we urge anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the area or carrying out this damage to please get in touch.
"The person or persons responsible have been opportunistic and have been successful in stealing items that now directly impacts the livelihood of its rightful owners.
"I would encourage members of the public to be conscious of the security of their property and be mindful of potential stolen property being sold in the area. Identifying those responsible shall allow for those to be held accountable for their actions."
