A pensioner's been robbed in broad daylight in Aberdeen.

It happened on Rosemount Place at around midday on the 27th February 2017.

The thief made off with the 86-year-old woman's purse.

Sergeant Brian Hutchison said: "This is a despicable theft of a purse from an elderly woman. She was not injured in any way but is understandably upset by the incident.

"We are looking to trace a man aged in his thirties who may be able to assist with enquiries.

"He engaged the woman in conversation shortly before her purse was stolen. The man is described as being around 5ft 10ins tall, clean shaven and was wearing a dark jacket with black hooded top underneath, purple beanie hat and a thick scarf around his neck."
