Pensioner killed in Aberdeen lorry crash named

The woman who died following a road traffic collision in the St Machar Drive/King Street area of Aberdeen on Monday 10th September 2018 has been named as Mary Allan, aged 83, who was from the Bridge of Don area of the city.

The collision happened at around 11.40am and involved a HGV.

Roads Policing Sergeant Scott Deans said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of the woman who has tragically died. Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing and I would continue to urge anyone who witnessed what happened but has not yet spoken to the Police to please get in touch by calling 101 and quoting reference number 1256 of Sep 10."

The pensioner’s been named as a man was hit by a lorry on Great Southern Road. He’s been taken to hospital, but we don’t know how serious his injuries are.
