A pedestrian's died after being hit by a lorry on one of Aberdeenshire's busiest roads
One of the North East's busiest roads is closed in both directions, after a pedestrian was knocked down and killed by a lorry. The police have now confirmed there was a fatal accident on the A96 in the early hours of this morning. A pedestrian was struck by a lorry near Kintore - we don't know if it was a woman or a man, but it's understood they were killed instantly That road was closed in both directions at the Tavelty junction at rush hour - it's now been re-opened following a police investigation.
