Paul Hartley: League win isn't something I've thought about
Cove Rangers could take the title on Saturday
Despite being within touching distance on the Scottish League 1 title, Cove Rangers Manager Paul Hartley tells Northsound it's not something he's thought about.
"t's not really something I've actually thought about, I've just always prepared the team as best as I can.
"I've always tried to focus on ourselves, I've never looked at any other team and what the trying to do.
"If something happens at the end of the game, great, but our focus is on trying to get three points."
The Toonsers were playing in the fifth-tier only three years ago, and there meteoric will continue this weekend should Dumbarton do them a favour.
A win for Cove at home to Alloa as well as Dumbarton taking something from their game with Airdrieonians would be enough for the title to come to the north-east.
"Terrific" Airdrieonians
The Wee Rangers lie five points ahead of their nearest challengers with three games left.
Hartley paid tribute to the Diamonds, saying, "If you go 23 games unbeaten, you expect to be a lot more points in front.
"But it shows you the levels that Airdrie have had. They've been terrific.
"So it's been a tough, tough league, but it's been enjoyable."
The club have put on an offer for fans at the Balmoral Stadium on Saturday, with adult tickets available from £10 and concessions for only a fiver.
And Hartley hopes the initiative will see an larger crowd on Saturday.
"We've reduced the prices as we're trying to get more kids coming. We want to try and get as many fans in on Saturday and the the following Saturday.
"People that have not saw us before, we want a they may come in and say 'yep, good team, good players, enjoyed my day.'"
