Paraglider rescued from hilltop in Aberdeenshire

Emergency services received the call earlier this morning.

A paraglider has been rescued from Tap O' Noth in Aberdeenshire today.

Emergency services were contacted at 10.26am from the fort in Rhynie, which is the second highest in Scotland.

The man made the call himself after the paraglider thought he may have broken his leg or his hip.

He was rescued by the Coastguard and airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be checked.

It's thought he may have broken his leg.
