Pair charged after heroin worth nearly £2,000 found during car stop on A90
A 25 year old man and a 23 year old woman have been charged after a vehicle was stopped on the A90 at Charleston on Wednesday 9 May 2018.
Heroin with a street value of £1,800 was recovered from the car during the stop at 9am.
The pair are from the Lverpool area.
Detective Inspector Rob Sim said: 'We are determined to stop those intent on making money from the illegal sale of drugs which only serves to cause harm to the communities of the North East.
'Anyone with concerns about drugs in their community or who sees anything unusual or suspicious should contact police and any information will be taken seriously and acted upon.'
It is anticipated that the man and woman will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, 10 May.
