Officers search for Aberdeen fire starter

Police in Tillydrone are appealing for witnesses after two cars were deliberately set on fire in the city.

The incident happened on Marquis Road at 11:10pm on Wednesday 16th December.

A blue Kia Rio and a blue Vauxhall Zefira were set alight.

Nobody was injured as a result of the blaze.

Naomi Henderson, of Tillydrone Police Station, said: "We are appealing for anyone who has any information relating to the incident or saw any suspicious behaviour in the area before or after the incident to contact us."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3703 of 16 December or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
