Nuart Aberdeen is back for 2022 as its popular street art continues to transform grey, granite walls into colourful pieces of art.

Spanish artist Jofre Oliveras completed the first piece of the 2022 edition on Wednesday - his painting can be seen on Frederick Street.

The festival also includes an 'inspired nights' market, featuring music, street food, bars and creative spaces for all ages.

The market will take place on Broad Street from noon until 9PM on Friday and Saturday, before shutting up shop at 6PM on Sunday.

The Belmont Picturehouse plays home to 'Martha: A Picture Story', a film about photographer Martha Cooper who captured images of grafitti throughout New York in the 1970s, at a time when the city had declared war against it.

There's also workshops and street art walking tours available over the weekend.
