Northsound News understands that one of Aberdeen's legal highs stores has been forced to shut down - following a Police seizure in December.

In December Trading Standards officers and Police Scotland targeted five legal highs shops in the city - seizing £100,00 worth of the substances.

The shops known to have been affected were 'Harminasion' on King Street, 'Happy Haze' on Skene Square and 'Claire's' in Aberdeen Market.

It is now believed that 'Happy Haze' has been forced to shut down after losing the majority of its stock in the raid.

Councillor Ross Thomson has led the campaign to get these substances off of Aberdeen's streets.
