Neale Cooper : a Celebration of Life

Author: Dave GallowayPublished 8th Jun 2018

Around 3,500 Aberdeen fans are expected to pack into the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie tonight to celebrate the life of Neale Cooper .

He's the first - and also the youngest - of the Gothenburg Greats to pass away.

There's been a massive outpouring of grief since Neale died in hospital nearly 2 weeks ago after a fall. He was just 54.

Close friends and former team mates will speak at this evening's memorial service.

There'll be tears for Tattite....but also laughter at some of his antics.

His family are urging all friends, colleagues and supporters to attend and pay their respects.

Complimentary tickets are available from the Pittodrie Ticket Office and online at afc.co.uk/eTickets. It is strongly advised to book in advance for this event. Tickets will be available on the night subject to availability.

Spaces will be available in both Pittodrie Street and Golf Road car parks on a first come first served basis.

The book of condolence will be available in the RDS Concourse area once the evening has been brought to a close
