Murder Inquiry launched after death of man in Aberdeen

Police Scotland can confirm that a murder inquiry has been launched following the death of a man in the Mastrick area of Aberdeen.

Police Scotland can confirm that a murder inquiry has been launched following the death of a man in the Mastrick area of Aberdeen. Officers were called to a property at Arnage Place at around 5am this morning Wednesday 26th October following concerns for a 26-year-old man. The Scottish Ambulance Service along with officers attended however he was pronounced dead at the scene. A major investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.

Enquiries are also continuing to confirm his identity. Further details will be released in due course.
