The Premiership encounter between Motherwell and Aberdeen remains on after passing a pitch inspection.
Motherwell requested an inspection after heavy rain battered North Lanarkshire and referee Bobby Madden was dispatched to Fir Park for about 2.30pm.
The home club are still concerned about the prospect of further rain, but the Scottish Professional Football League is keen for the BT Sport-televised match to be played.
Motherwell wrote on Twitter: “Referee Bobby Madden has passed the pitch at the moment, although weather forecasts remain unkind. After seeking advice from the league, the game is going ahead.”
The club had earlier revealed the Fir Park pitch was “a bit squelchy” after 10mm of rain fell inside three hours in the morning, and the weather worsened at lunchtime.
