Football fans across Scotland have donated more than £1 million to help keep their local clubs afloat since the coronavirus lockdown began.

Since mid-March clubs have not been able to rely on gate receipts, TV money and corporate sponsors as they once did.

Northsound 1 has also heard how fans refused refunds on the unspent part of their season tickets, raised cash through online donations, and even washed cars to drum up cash for their clubs.
