Two Aberdeen men have been charged in relation to allegedly making racially offensive remarks at Wednesday's match at Pittodrie.

Fans told police about an incident going on in the South Stand during the game against Rangers.

Sergeant Ross Geddes, of the Divisional Alcohol Violence Reduction Unit (DAVRU), said: "I would like to thank those who brought their concerns to our attention and to those who assisted with our investigation."

He added: "Offensive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and anyone who becomes involved in disorder will be dealt with robustly."

The pair - aged 47 & 57 - will appear at the Sheriff Court at a later date.
