Memorial service for murdered pensioner
Family and friends will mark the life of 67 year old Brian McKandie at a service today
A memorial service is being held today for family and friends of Brian McKandie.
He's the 67 year old who was found dead in his home near Rothienorman on Saturday March 12th.
Police say he'd been the victim of a brutal murder, and a heavy instrument had been used.
They think he'd been killed the day before, and detectives are still trying to find a number of men who visited his home that Friday.
His brother William has already made an appeal for information.
Today's service is being held at a church near his home.
