Man suffers serious injuries following collision with car in Aberdeen

A man has suffered serious injuries following a collision with a car in Aberdeen.

Police are appealing for information following a collision, involving a white Seat Toledo, on Aberdeen's King Street at around 01.30am on Sunday. A male pedestrian was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries whilst the male driver of the car was uninjured.

The road was closed while investigations took place but has since re-opened. Sergeant Malcolm Kinross, from the Divisional Roads Policing Unit, said: "Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing and I would like to thank everyone who has already come forward with information. However I am appealing to anyone who has not already spoken to the Police who witnessed the incident to get in touch via 101"
