A man's seriously hurt in hospital after being pulled from a burning house in Aberdeen.
The alarm was raised on Derbreth Crescent in Sheddocksley last night.
A spokeswoman said: "The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted just before 7.30pm on Monday, November 7 to reports of a house fire.
"Operations Control mobilised three appliances to Derbreth Crescent, Aberdeen.
"Firefighters very quickly located and removed a male casualty from the property who was then transported to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“The fire was quickly extinguished using a water jet.
"A joint investigation with Police Scotland will be undertaken to establish the circumstances of the fire."
