Man Missing off Aberdeen Coast
A huge search is underway for a man who's fallen overboard from a vessel off the coast of Aberdeen.
The alarm was raised at 2 o'clock this morning near the Girdle Ness Lighthouse in Torry.
Aberdeen and Stonehaven Coastguard Rescue Teams, along with two lifeboats from Aberdeen and a Bond helicopter are involved in the search.
There are currently eleven vessels involved including the two lifeboats.
Matt Leat, Maritime Operations Controller said, ‘There is an extensive search of the area going on. Police Scotland has also been made aware.’
