Man Killed In Aberdeenshire Crash Named
A man who was killed in a crash in Aberdeenshire in the early hours of this morning, has been named by Police.
The collision, involving a car and lorry, happened on the A947 between Fyvie and Oldmeldrum, at around 3:30am.
46-year-old Alan Geals was cut from his car by firefighters, but was then pronounced dead on the scene.
The lorry driver was taken to Inverurie Hospital with minor injuries.
The road has now re-opened, after being closed by crash investigators earlier.
