Man in court over Aberdeen car crash

The 35-year-old was one of two people hurt earlier this month

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a one-vehicle crash in Aberdeen city centre which left two people injured.

It happened on Crown Street in the early hours of Tuesday, 11 October, 2022.

The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today having received treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident.

A 19-year-old woman was also taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.

Officers attempted to stop the car before the crash and Police Scotland referred the matter to the Police Investigations and Review Commissioner.
