Man in court charged with murder in Aberdeen
David Bain is charged in connection with the death of Clifford Anderson on Sunday
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of another man in Aberdeen.
Clifford Anderson, 60, was found injured in Jasmine Terrace on Sunday.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, but later died.
David Bain, 26, from Aberdeen, made no plea when he appeared at the city's Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
He was remanded in custody pending a further court hearing.
Mr Anderson's family paid tribute to the ScotRail worker in a statement released through Police Scotland earlier.
Cliff was a dearly beloved son of the late Ronald and Iris, a brother of Elaine and Iain, uncle and a friend to many. He will be sorely missed by all,'' it said.
