A man's appeared in court after reports an Aberdeenshire newsagent was robbed in the middle of the day.
Police were called to the Londis in Boddam around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
Earlier Arran Baird appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court charged with shoplifting, assault and robbery.
The 33 year old entered no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
