Man dies in hospital as two arrested in Aberdeen
Police said The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and the Police Investigation and Review Commissioner have been informed
A man has died after police received a report of concern for a person at a property in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to Rosehill Crescent at around 10.45pm last night and a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital.
He died a short time later.
A 36-year-old man and 28-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with an assault.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.45pm on Saturday, 27 May, 2023, police received a report of concern for a 39-year-old man within a property on Rosehill Crescent in Aberdeen.
“The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died a short time later.
“A 36-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with an assault and enquiries are ongoing.
“The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) and the Police Investigation and Review Commissioner (PIRC) have been informed and it would therefore be inappropriate to comment further.”
