Man due in court following alleged stabbing in Aberdeen city centre

A 34-year-old man is due in court following an alleged stabbing in Aberdeen city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were called to Market Street at around 12.25am on 7 July after a 32-year-old man was seriously assaulted with a knife.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The 34-year-old was later arrested and charged and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sherriff Court today.
