Man charged with attempted murder following alleged rape of woman in Cove

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was allegedly raped in Cove on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Police said the alleged incident occurred at around 9.15pm on Saturday 10th June at a property in Charleston Road North.
The 31-year-old is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Officers say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, but that there will be a continued police presence in the area.
