Man charged over prisoner transport van crash
A man's been charged after a prisoner escort van overturned on an Aberdeenshire road.
Police investigating a road accident involving a prisoner transport van have charged a man.
The accident happened in October on the A952 between Fraserburgh and Mintlaw.
Three G4S employees and a prisoner being taken from Fraserburgh police station to Aberdeen Sheriff Court were in the van when it overturned.
All four were taken to hospital, but none of them are understood to have been seriously injured.
Now police say they've charged a 49 year old man has been charged in relation to the incident, and a report's been sent to the procurator fiscal.
