Man charged following assault and indecent exposure incident at Aberdeen park

The 64-year-old man is due to appear in court on Monday 30 September.

A 64-year-old man has been charged after police were called to reports of an assault and indecent exposure at an Aberdeen play park.

The incident happened on Thursday 26 September at around 4.45pm at a park in Sumburgh Crescent in Sheddocklsey.

He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday 30 September.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a report of an assault and an indecent exposure in Aberdeen.

"The incident happened around 4.45pm on Thursday, 26 September, 2024 at a play park in Sumburgh Crescent.

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
