Man charged after fan injured at Aberdeen Rangers match
A man has been charged over an incident which saw a football fan injured at a recent Scottish Cup fixture.
Earlier this week police released CCTV images and appealed for information about the incident at Pittodrie on Sunday March 3 when Aberdeen hosted Rangers.
A 21-year-old man from Glasgow has been charged in connection with an "alleged incident of culpable and reckless conduct'' and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Pc Thomas Bashforth, of the Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit, said: "Thank you to those who assisted with and shared our appeal earlier this week - your information was invaluable."
